Wall, Ceiling & Floor Soundproofing

Wall and ceiling soundproofing means building isolating layers decoupled from the original wall or slab to stop sound and vibration travelling through. Silence delivers it in Cairo for apartments, villas, studios and offices, using metal or timber frames filled with rockwool and closed with soundproof gypsum board, and it can include floors in a room-within-a-room system.

What problems does wall & ceiling soundproofing solve?

How does it work? Our process

  1. Site visit & noise diagnosis

We pinpoint where the noise comes from: shared wall, ceiling, floor, door or window. Every space is different, so the solution is always custom.

  2. Solution design & detailed quote

Based on the visit we send a detailed quote that spells out the proposed system and materials before any work starts.

  3. Building the isolation layers

A metal or timber frame decoupled from the original wall to cut vibration transfer, filled with high-density rockwool and closed with soundproof gypsum board, plus rubber (MLV) damping layers.

  4. Sealing the weak points

A small gap under a door or a leaky window ruins the whole system, so we fit gaskets, automatic door bottoms and window solutions.

  5. Finishing & décor

We finish with paint, wood or clean decorative design so the room looks finished, not like a construction site.

  6. Testing & fine-tuning

After installation we test incoming noise, outgoing noise and vibration, and fine-tune if needed.

Which materials do we use?

Final materials are chosen after the site visit, based on the noise source and the space.

How much does wall & ceiling soundproofing cost?

There is no fixed price for every project; we quote precisely after a site visit, based on:

Wall & ceiling soundproofing: frequently asked questions

What is the best material to soundproof a wall?

No single material: effective insulation combines mass and decoupling, with high-density rockwool inside a separate frame, soundproof gypsum board and MLV rubber layers.

Can I soundproof my ceiling against footsteps?

Yes. Impact noise needs structural decoupling, such as a separate suspended ceiling filled with rockwool and closed with soundproof gypsum board.

How thick is wall soundproofing?

Roughly 5–10 cm per treated wall, depending on the system and materials.

Do you need to demolish the wall?

Usually not. The system is built as a new layer in front of the existing wall, then finished with paint or wood.
